Google @ Series

Interactive Conference Series, April-November 2015 

Throughout 2015, Google challenged WONDER to produce a mixture of small and large scale conferences. The schedule included up to ten events at different locations. Venues included a combination of dedicated event spaces together with a number of ‘take overs’ at the offices of leading advertising agencies and brands. These includied Unilever, Disney, Dentsu Aegis, iProspect, Mindshare, OMG, MediaCom and MEC. Their aim was to engage with up to 2000 media and marketing executives across the UK.

The wanted to create a personal Google experience to showcase a range of products to agency employees with cool immersive and interactive pieces that were brought into their workspaces. This was accompanied by an itinerary of complimentary presentations by guest speakers and workshops hosted by Googlers and outside speakers.

Our bespoke, micro-environment concept featured modular assets, which could be used in isolation or as part of a collection. Being sectional they were able to expand and contract and slot into any venue. These included the Google lounge, meeting hut, YouTube screen and the hugely popular Google kitchen.

This flexible solution gave the guys and girls at Google a sense of ownership, directing what assets would work best at each venue with advice from us on what was achievable according to the scale of our production to each location.

In their own time, employees could use the collaborative meeting spaces. They were encouraged to test and try out the newest technology, to explore the capabilities of the products and services on offer with Googlers on hand to give detailed demos.

At each event, we also managed a programme of bespoke content which focused on the specific topics raised, in advance, by each agency.  This featured presentations around industry topics such as Programmatic Advertising and YouTube Marketing as well as talks from Googlers, some well known YouTubers, plus key influencers and motivational speakers from leading brands.


WONDER were able to come up with really creative responses to a complex brief and delivered above and beyond what we were hoping for. Their production quality is impeccable and the whole team are a joy to work with. This is widely regarded as one of the most successful Google@ series ever and we’ve had nothing but rave reviews.
